Welcome from the TCA Chair
I am pleased to share my first newsletter as Chair of the TCA Board, following my election at this year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).
On behalf of the Board, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to Bertrand Moussel (Valid) for the energy and commitment he brought to our organisation over two consecutive terms as Chair. Bertrand continues on the Board, alongside Cyril Caillaud (NXP) – who was unanimously re-elected to the rotating Board seat – and Oyvind Rastad (Thales).
I would also like to welcome our two new Board representatives: Jérôme Dumoulin (IDEMIA) and Thomas Froschmeier (Giesecke+Devrient). Jérôme and Thomas succeed Benoit Collier (IDEMIA) and Claus Dietze (Giesecke+Devrient), who step down following many years of valued contributions.
As we look to the year ahead and beyond, TCA remains committed to promoting secure, interoperable and sustainable connectivity across the world. Our recent participation in the Global Certification Forum (GCF) IoT Security and eSIM Workshop in June, alongside GSMA, highlighted the importance of collaboration and standardisation in ensuring the expanding eSIM ecosystem is underpinned by a foundation of trust, consistency and reliability – a focus that will continue to shape our strategic and technical priorities as an organisation.
