Trusted Connectivity Alliance: January 2025 Member News
Welcome from the TCA Chair
As we move into 2025 and beyond, ensuring SGP.32 deployments are underpinned by a strong foundation of security and interoperability remains a key area of focus for TCA.
Given the vast number of potential IoT use cases, analysts are predicting accelerated growth for IoT connections on eSIM over the next five years. Yet as deployments build, ensuring that this flexibility is coupled with a consistent baseline to prevent complexity and fragmentation must be a priority.
If you are attending the Embedded World Conference in March, you can hear more from TCA on this important topic. I will be delivering the presentation ‘SGP.32: Advancing Remote SIM Provisioning for the IoT’, on 12 March a part of the “Session 1.14: IoT and Connectivity” track.
In parallel, TCA is also examining the broader impact of SGP.32 adoption on the mobile connectivity ecosystem. This includes key deployment scenarios and interoperability requirements.
I look forward to sharing more information on SGP.32 and TCA’s other key initiatives. In the meantime, you can stay informed of the latest news, updates and resources by following TCA on LinkedIn.
